Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28, 1967. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have been a resident of Atlanta. The story started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. As a college students at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he took part in numerous performances. Following his air force service and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. In 1957, the couple quit the military and Walter enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's TV show named Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it ran for 6 years. In the meantime, they were blessed with two additional kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
