Her debut track Here was released in 2015. The single was a smash and garnered praise from both listeners and critics alike. It peaked at number 19 on the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song among the 2015's most memorable Songs. In that same year she released her debut album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts. This includes The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. The song was particularly memorable since based on her interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans shared their experiences of doubting herself and learning how to accept herself. Cara is known for incorporating messages about mental health kindness and self-love into her songs. She has been struggling with insomnia and anxiety, which have influenced her journey. In a Reuters interview, she has described her album half tumultuous however, it is half finished. She claims she has grown through therapy and she encourages others to seek help when they need it. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born July 11 1996 to parents who are of Italian heritage. Her parents gave her a brand-new guitar that she was able to use to discover her love for the music. She began to cover her favorite songs when she was thirteen to show everyone that she had the skills and the confidence required to become a singer. A cover of one of her songs, Sweater Weather, was the one that got her attention. EP Entertainment gave her an opportunity to develop and record her own tracks.
